Are you looking for engaging area practice activities for your 3rd grade area unit? Scaffold student learning with this multiply to find area Google Slides activity. You get 30 task cards that include three types of rectangle models. For each problem, students will need to count rows and columns of rectangles and then multiply to find the area.

This is an ideal activity for math centers or small groups. I assign my class the Google Slides for independent practice while I use the print task cards to help my struggling students in small groups.
